How do I look up what local telephone service provider is being used for a phone number?

Posted by admin on March 24th, 2010 and filed under local telephone service | 4 Comments »

I want to know what telephone service provider is being used for a specific phone number? Is there any way of looking up this sort of information??

none of those searches are accurate!

they will tell you who owns that block of numbers, and that will only let you know what phone provider initiated the phone service, if the service was switched from the original carrier, it will not provide that information…

The software HR’s using are depends on fix programming which includes some fixed general questions ,

solution - go for serious study atleast 1 or more hours , just fix your time & try .but don’t expect to get result shortly yes it’s a borering process but I guess this is most effective process which really shows satisfacted results

Even you need a software then go for Google search ,just type your question & got the results this is the biggest software after all

I only want basic local phone service Help!?

Posted by admin on March 14th, 2010 and filed under local phone service | 2 Comments »

We can no longer afford phone service, all we need is local calling basic who has the cheapest rates?

There is a big secret in the telephone industry, there is something called the tariff rate or metered calling. Phone companies do not advertise this. You have to insist with customer "no-service". This is regulated bu your Public Service Commission, check with them to see what your local provider is required to offer. You should be able to get local service with no frills for around $20.00 a month.

    Good Luck

Fellow Canadians - need some help with Home Phone service providers?

Posted by admin on March 10th, 2010 and filed under home phone service | 4 Comments »

I live in Ontario Canada, and would like to get away from Bell Telephone service. I find them to be very expensive and the customer service is terrible. We cannot get cable where we live, we have satellite TV and I believe DSL internet. I’ve looked into Magicjack, and comwave so far. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for cheap home phone providers? Has anyone actually used Magic jack?
    Much appreciated!

The problem with MagicJack is it is entirely dependent on having your computer running all the time, otherwise you won’t be able to make or take phone calls. To call it a home phone is a bit stretching it.

Comwave is a better option and quite affordable. For $10 a month you can get a basic home-phone service with unlimited local calling. It is worth noting that this is a VoIP service which means the calls are routed over your Internet connection to save money, but in every other way it’s just like a normal home phone.

Viatalk is another highly recommended VoIP service.
Edit: Sorry, I made an error. ViaTalk does not service Canada. You can still get outbound calling, but your incoming number would be for some city in the U.S.
For Canadian VoIP providers, see here:
    http://voipchoices.com/voip-canada.html

This is what I was saying about ViaTalk:

For about $10.75 a month (on a yearly contract) you can get unlimited calling to Canada and the USA as well as all the extras (Caller ID, Call Waiting, VoiceMail) included.

As a limited time promotional offer, Via Talk will also include a second phone line free with your $10.75/mo service. That means you can have two independent phone calls at the same time.

As another bonus offer, you also get 60 minutes of free calling to most popular International destinations including Australia and the United Kingdom.
