Employees of the Telecommunications division of the California Department of General Services spend each day tearing apart sport utility vehicles, trucks, cars and off-road vehicles, only to put them back together again with the lights, sirens and radios that state public safety officers rely on to keep them safe.

How wonderful to see some of what the Telecom Division does!
Hopefully this is the first in a series of many to let folks know about TD, such as 911 call centers, radio systems for CHP, CalTrans, Dept. of Corrections, Dept. of Justice, CalFire, Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, Fish and Game, Parks and Recreation, to name a few of the agencies for whom TD engineers, installs and maintains 24/7 throughout the state in all weather conditions.
